Chick-fil-A says anyone who visits the new restaurant Thursday dressed in cow attire—from a full cow costume to a simple spotted accessory—can receive one qualifying free entrée or kid’s meal. The offer is available inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru, while supplies last. No purchase is required.

For families looking for something different to do Thursday, that turns the opening into something more playful than simply trying another restaurant.

You Don’t Need a Full Cow Costume

Nobody needs to arrive looking ready for the pasture.

Chick-fil-A says even a simple cow-spotted accessory qualifies for the restaurant’s opening-day Moove-In Party. Each person wearing cow attire can receive one qualifying free entrée or kid’s meal while supplies last.

North Stockton Gets Another Place to Eat and Gather

The Trinity Parkway restaurant is operator April Farage’s second Chick-fil-A location in Stockton. She became the operator of the March Lane at Interstate 5 restaurant in 2019 and has called Stockton home for 25 years.

The new restaurant offers dine-in service, drive-thru, third-party delivery and Mobile Thru, which allows customers to place a mobile order and use a dedicated drive-thru option.

Regular dine-in hours are 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with drive-thru service available until 11 p.m. The restaurant is closed Sundays.

For North Stockton families, that creates another nearby option for breakfast, lunch, dinner or a quick meal on the way home.

Over time, it may also become one of those familiar places where grandparents take the kids for lunch, friends meet after work or a family grabs dinner because nobody wants to cook.

Whether that happens will be determined by the people who actually use it.

Thursday is simply the beginning.

The Opening Is Bringing 85 Jobs and a $25,000 Hunger-Relief Donation

The opening also reaches beyond the restaurant itself.

Chick-fil-A says the new location is creating approximately 85 jobs. The company is also marking the Stockton opening with a $25,000 donation to Second Harvest of the Greater Valley to support local hunger-relief efforts.

The restaurant will participate in Chick-fil-A’s Shared Table program, which redirects surplus food from participating restaurants to local nonprofit organizations.

Those are meaningful parts of the opening, even if they are not the reason most families will pull into the parking lot Thursday morning.

For many people, the attraction will be simpler.

A new restaurant has opened nearby.

There is food to try.

And, for one day, there is a perfectly reasonable excuse to leave the house wearing cow spots.
